I can not say enough about the love and care that Lindsay and Alex share with their"guests". I am the parent of a very "special" 4 yo lab named Lucy. As a rescue she faced many challenges early on. She was left alone in a kennel for 5 weeks after her litter mates left and like all of us dealt with isolation through the early days of COVID. So she suffers from separation anxiety and stranger danger. Then adding insult to injury we lost her "brother" Jake this summer to old age. He was her rock. We have a big family trip coming up next year and knowing that Lucy is not kennel material I reached out to L and A to see if they would be willing to give her a try. Her first overnight went well so we tried a multiple night away and she thrived. The love and attention that they provide is over and above. When I went to collect Lucy she was happy to see me but clearly bonded with Lindsay and Alex and in no hurry to leave. They kept her safe, happy and entertained.

Our dog loved his time here. We were married across the street and Lindsey accommodated our schedule with ease, bringing him to our photos and ceremony. The best part was that he was eager to go and play with them while we continued our wedding. It warmed our hearts that he was so happy!!

Lindsay and Alex were a joy to work with from start to finish. Before even meeting them over the phone, I knew from incredible past reviews and the overall “vibe” I felt from them that I could trust my sweet babies with them. They took care of our two dogs, Tessie(8, Redbone Coonhound mix) and Liberty(1, Texas Heeler) in their home for almost exactly 48 hours while my husband and I were across the street at The Publick House getting married! During that time, they sent the perfect amount of photos and updates, and I truly had no worries. We saw Lindsay walking them a few times, and even saw our lady Liberty watching cars drive by out the front window. Lindsay and Alex also brought the girls over twice! Once for photos, and a second time for them to walk down the aisle at our ceremony. These two dogs can be several handfuls at times, but Lindsay and Alex handled them expertly with great attention to care and so much love, as if they were their own. They were great about giving Tessie her medications and even got them into their wedding day attire. I could not recommend enough- giving your “kids” a little vacation at Lindsay Loves Pets if you need help during wedding season or for any other adventures! I have been a client of Lindsey Loves Pets for over a year now and have been very happy with the services provided. They have been accommodating with special requests. For example, my dog had issues with getting into my car and they spent considerable time and effort helping me to get my dog back on track. I also appreciate the flexibility with the times for available dog walks when necessary. Everyone is also very friendly. We love the photographs and the summary that they provide us about every visit with our Dog. It’s clear how much they care about his safety and that they want for him to have a good time. They’ve done a great job, pairing him up with other dogs for playtime. Our Dog is always very excited to see them.

Lindsay, Alex, and team pet sat our three dogs and two cats for the weekend. We were in Sturbridge for our son's wedding, and having Lindsay and Alex take care of our dogs was an incredible help—it truly took a big weight off our shoulders. They made sure everything was taken care of, so we didn’t have to worry at all. Our dogs had a fantastic time with them (we loved all the photos!), and they even left a thoughtful note after feeding and caring for them. We would absolutely use their services again if we're ever in the area and need dog care.

I hired Lindsay to watch our dog Stella for our wedding weekend in Sturbridge MA. This was the best decision I could have made! Lindsay and Alex were so kind and reassuring that Stella would be having her own vacation! I received daily texts updates and pictures of Stella while on walks, hiking and playing in the snow! Yes snow in April! The day of the wedding when my nerves were so high I received a morning text from Lindsay saying Stella was having a great time and to enjoy my wedding that was the calming text I needed! Lindsay also offers bringing your dog to your venue so you can get some awesome shots with your best friend! Can’t thank them both enough for watching our baby! Make our wedding weekend less stressful and more memorable! If I have any other vacations I will be driving and hour from my home so Stella and he with Lindsay! 100% recommend hiring for your dog sitter any time!

Alex the dog father was amazing with my pack of 7 dogs. It started out a bit rough as chihuahuas are not the trusting kind. After a day or two they became acclimated and learned that the dog father wasn't a bad guy. By the last day sitting, the dogs were cuddling and allowing him to pet them. Each dog has their own personality and came around on their own time. He even stayed a bit longer due to a flight change!! Frosty and friends started out with a lot of drama for a tv show but in the end it became a bit boring lol.

We used Lindsay Loves Pets for 3 days for our wedding. They were amazing and took such good care of our Great Dane. They took him for multiple walks and communicated with me throughout his stay. Lindsay and Alex are pros. Good communicators with people but even more so with dogs. Easily handled three dogs which included two high strung 80+ lb Ridgebacks. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I sincerely want to thank Lindsay Loves Pets for taking in our Puppers today! She and her husband Alex cared for Buster & Smokey as if they were their own! We met them for the first time yesterday for a short meet and greet and we were greeted with smiles and open arms! Alex and Lindsay were not just interested in what our dogs were like but, how we would like to see them cared for! I will say that our dogs loved them right off the bat! I have to say we did as well! We felt we could totally trust them with our fur babies! The next day we again, were greeted with smiles and open arms from Alex and Lindsay; as if we were family! We had a short chat and off we went sightseeing for the rest of the day and when we returned to pick them up our dogs were happy to see us but, also were content with having been with a new family for the day! Buster and Smokey were pampered one-on-one by Alex and Lindsay by getting walks in the fields, treats, lots of love and snuggles. No kennels here! We should have stayed and let the furry children explore Sturbridge! I would highly recommend Lindsey Loves Pets to pamper your pet! Lindsay and Alex are great! They watch our cat who needs medication twice a day when we are away. They are responsible and care for our cat as much as we do! They make sure he is fed, gets his medicine and gets a lot of play time and love. I would highly recommend them for anyone in the area looking for a pet sitter!

Lindsey is a lifesaver. She and Alex were able to take care of our ridiculous number of pets at the last minute and did a wonderful job; they took some of the cutest pictures of our pets that we have. Will definitely keep having them care for our herd. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

We found Lindsay Loves Pets online after our regular boarder retired. We had met with several sitters and in home providers but none seemed right for our pack of three… until we met Lindsay and Alex. We have one boy that’s standoffish and slow to like new people, but by the end of the meet and greet he asked for pets and gave a little nuzzle.

Since then (over a year ago now) we have used them numerous times for afternoon breaks when we’re visiting friends and family trips. They bring their A game every time! They send regular pup-dates so we can see what the pack is up to and spend lots of time playing with them and giving them love. Our pack loves “boarding at home” and I love knowing the dogs are well cared for! I also appreciate their flexibility and feel that they really love our dogs as their own!

Lindsay is amazing! She truly understands cat personalities and provides top-notch care for our fur babies. We came home to happy cats and a very clean home. Such a fun and loving home environment for my 8 mo old lab’s first time apart from us! We enjoyed our trip more knowing she was so happy and loved! She got so much exercise and play time I think she’s healthier after a week with them.🤣 Lindsay sent us daily pictures and fun stories of her new adventures. Loved the pictures of our pup snuggling on the couch watching tv with them each night. Lindsay and Alex also gave so much attention and love to our 15yo lab who has since passed. He needed a lot of extra care and it was a relief to have him safe and happy while staying with Lindsay and Alex. We can’t thank you enough!

As an obsessive pet parent, it’s not easy for me to leave my kitties for vacation, but it’s much easier knowing they are in Lindsay’s hands! My cats tend to be stranger-adverse, but they are really comfortable with her. I love getting the texts and daily updates to know that all is well while we’re away. Lindsay and Alex took care of our rambunctious 2 year old dog during the weekend of a family wedding. Our pup stayed with us at the Publick House in Sturbridge, but Alex took her for several outings (extended walk/hikes) while we were busy. Our dog was totally tired out after their time together. Lindsay and Alex sent wonderful photos of her having the time of her life. Their communication is excellent - clear, detailed, and consistent - and I felt totally comfortable that we were on the same page about our dog's needs and safety. They were also flexible with some last-minute changes that we requested, which really helped us out. couldn't recommend their services more highly!

Our cats loved Lindsay Loves Pets, and so did we!
My mother and I took a weeklong vacation and needed folks to check in on our three cats.

Our meet and greet was great and I felt fully confident having them in our home and spending time with our kitties.
They let us know what they needed and made everything super easy!

Every day we were sent a summary of the visit with photos. Two of our cats are much more outgoing and warmed up to them very quickly. They played, got brushed, and were clearly very well cared for! I was really impressed with how they cared for my cat Hutch. He's very shy so they only saw him a couple of times, but made sure to let us know that he was eating and using his litterbox. I really appreciate that they didn't crowd him and make him uncomfortable. He gets bad dandruff when he's stressed out and when I came back he was completely dandruff-free!

We would definitely work with Lindsay Loves Pets again!

Feel very fortunate to have found Lindsay and Alex to help care for our dog Foz. Foz is actually my grandpup and his dad was getting married at the Public House. It was important to all of us, that not only was Foz well cared for during a very busy few days but he also be a part of my son and daughter in laws big day in some way. Lindsay and Alex made it happen. Our dog immediately took to both of them and they were super easy to work with. EXCELLENT communication too!
My one regret is that we don’t live closer because we’d use them all the time! Highly recommend!!!

Such kind people. I would trust them with any pet. My two ratties were in very good hands. The updates and photos had me feeling good about going away. It can be hard to leave them behind but with Lindsay they are bound to enjoy their own little vacation.

In September of 2022, a friend reached out to Lindsey Loves Pets to ask for help on my behalf. I have a giant schnauzer (almost 3 years old) who requires consistent exercise, loves his people interactions, and does not go to daycare.

Jameson is a great dog - and I was looking for people other than myself to play with him, other dogs, and practice good behavior and manners a couple of times a week.

Alex and Lindsey have been a wonderful addition to Jameson’s life as well as mine. They are reliable, flexible, and he loves spending time with them. I know I I can trust the care of my happy boy to them in any situation, as they find ways to enrich his life, not just walk him. I highly recommend them if you are seeking any type of care for your pet.

I don’t know where to start, but let me say that Lindsay and Alex are truly the BEST in the business! Being new to the area, I waited too long to find someone to watch my German Shepherd over the holidays. Out of desperation and at the brink of cancelling our travel plans, a friend recommended Lindsay and Alex and I’m so grateful they did. After talking to countless boarding places across MA, L+A were the first people to empathize with my situation and understand the important of having someone watch and take care of my dog. They worked with us seamlessly, they were kind, helpful, pricing was great, and they truly were life savers. Alex drove over an hour to come stay at our house with Daisy, took extremely great care of her, communicated with us 24/7, and eased my anxiety about leaving her more than any other place has. Daisy is a rowdy, high energy, playful dog. Alex played with her endlessly and kept her busy and happy. She requires a lot of attention and love. They were absolutely incredible and I will happily recommend them to ANYONE. They have all kinds of services available and I will 100% be hiring them again for future needs. I couldn’t be happier that we found Lindsay to take care of our best boy while we are away. We have a VERY anxious/at times reactive dog and Lindsay was not only up to the challenge, she lovingly accepted Otis and understood him almost instantly and they became best pals! We were already at ease knowing Lindsay was caring for our buddy but we also received daily updates with gorgeous photos that made us even more relaxed! If you’re reading this and contemplating booking her, DO NOT WAIT. Lindsay and Alex are just AMAZING! We were nervous to have our dogs at the house during our backyard wedding, and there were lots of logistics to work out with pictures, pick-ups/drop-offs, etc. and they made it so easy! They picked up our pups, brought them back over for pictures, loved on them, and brought them back at the end of the night. SO nice to not have to worry about anything & just enjoy the day because of Lindsay and Alex!

Lindsay has been walking our dogs for quite awhile now and is the absolute best! One of our dogs is very nervous and doesn't trust many people. Lindsay took her time and patience to win her over which was a huge feat. We greatly appreciate how flexible she is because my job is very unpredictable so she often comes over last minute in afternoons when I realize I won't make it home on time. She also helped us out with our chickens and house while we were away on vacation and it took so much stress off knowing everything was in good hands. Found Lindsay Loves Pets on a Google search and couldn't be happier with the care our pup received. We were doing the tourist thing while our dog spent 1/2 the day on long walks, car rides and he went for his first swim. Felt comfortable with Lindsay and Alex immediately and do didn't our dog. My cat can be a jerk when I'm not around for more than 24hrs. He gets very stressed & will sometimes act aggressive. Once he walks into (what i lovingly refer to as) Lindsay's Pet Palace - my cat completely forgets who I am. He loves it there so much I have to bring treats to make him follow me outside so I can bring him home! I now only have to ask my kitty if he wants to go visit his step-parents and he heads right for the door ready to go. Lindsay DOES Love Pets & my cat is proof.

Lindsay and her husband Alex took amazing care of our dog while we were away. Dakota was spoiled and loved. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Updates were given throughout each day as well as cute pictures! We will definitely be using Lindsay Loves Pets again in the future. Highly recommend!

Lindsay is amazing with our dog, Daisy. She provides a safe & loving “home away from home” for our Cavapoo. She sends us pictures & updates while we’re gone and just really has a heart for our little furry family member. I highly recommend Lindsay!

Lindsay and Alex are absolutely wonderful! My dog is still a puppy and learning basic commands and training to walk properly on a leash, Lindsay Loves Pets helps me to reinforce my dog's training. Lindsay leaves me notes about how their day was during the walk and also how my pet’s training is progressing while working with my pet. Lindsay also sends me pictures during my pet’s walks!

Our services are perfect for people who live in or are traveling to Sturbridge, Southbridge, Charlton, Fiskdale, Brookfield, E Brookfield, N Brookfield, Brimfield, Spencer, Rochdale, Oxford, N Oxford, and Auburn, or  within about a 15 minute drive of a pet care provider. We try to be helpful and have been known to go outside our service area for an extra fee. For hosting, daycare, taxi, and wedding services we may be also be good for pet parents in  Holland, Wales, Warren, Ware, W Brookfield, Worcester, and beyond.  We provide some pet services throughout Massachusetts from Springfield to Worcester, Westboro, Framingham, Newton, Arlington, Somerville, Brighton, Brookline, Boston, as well as the North Shore and South Shore.
